When you use SongVow, we collect information you provide directly to us, including: your name, email address, the recipient's name, personal stories and details you share for song creation, photos you upload, and payment information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
We use the information you provide to: create your personalized song and lyrics, generate your gift page, send order confirmations and delivery emails, process payments, and improve our services. The personal stories and details you share are used solely for crafting your song and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
SongVow uses artificial intelligence services including Anthropic (Claude) for lyrics and ElevenLabs for music generation. The personal details you provide are sent to these services solely for the purpose of creating your song. These services process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not use your song data to train AI models.
Your order data, songs, and uploaded photos are stored securely using Supabase (cloud database and storage). Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only with: service providers who assist in operating our platform (Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Supabase for data storage, Anthropic and ElevenLabs for content generation), or when required by law or to protect our rights.
Gift pages are accessible via a unique link. Anyone with the link can view the gift page, listen to the song, and see the recipient name, occasion, gift message, and any uploaded photo. By creating a song, you acknowledge that the gift page content will be publicly accessible to anyone who has the link.
We use essential cookies to maintain site functionality. We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.
You have the right to: request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion of your personal data, and opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@songvow.com.
We retain your order data, songs, and gift pages indefinitely so that recipients can continue to access their songs. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us and we will remove it within 30 days, which will also make the associated gift page unavailable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of SongVow after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
